Gaming Awards Get a New Home on Amazon Prime Video and a Fresh Venue in Los Angeles

This announcement brings fresh excitement to fans who have long enjoyed premier gaming award shows through numerous streaming channels.

Enthusiasts of Geoff Keighley’s celebrated events have traditionally gathered on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Steam. This winter, a new home is joining the list, expanding the ways to catch the live festivities.

Organizers have confirmed that the 2025 ceremony will also stream via Amazon’s Prime Video. This addition means that when the festivities begin in the early hours of Friday, December 12, viewers across more than 200 countries—including those in the United Kingdom and Europe—can enjoy the event from this popular streaming service.

Furthermore, the venue shift marks a new chapter for the event. Instead of taking place at the previous location in Los Angeles, it will now be held at a different theater in the city. The broadcast is set to kick Shuts down at 1:00 AM GMT (2:00 local time) AM CET on December 12, preceded by a short pre-show featuring a series of smaller announcements and awards presentations.

  • New streaming platform: Amazon’s Prime Video
  • Accessible in over 200 nations
  • Event scheduled for the early hours of December 12 in the UK and Europe
  • Venue change from the previous theater to a new location in Los Angeles
